Attended the "Chapter 13" AIGA NY event for the release of Design for People at Parson's The New School. Discussion included the editors, designers, researchers, assistants and Scott Stowell himself. I ended up purchasing the book at the signing and reading it after the fact — I found it genuinely great to hear (at the event) and also read the narratives from all the other participants—not just the designers. It creates a real transparency to the design process that people don't normally get the opportunity to see.
